Every year the iCompass team gets excited to attend the annual conference put on by the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO). Municipal staff from every corner of the province comes together to share ideas for better administration, build new connections and network with peers. It is an inspiring three days of learning and collaboration that always leaves us in awe of the hard work public employees are doing to improve their communities. 

This year's event will take place in our nation's capital, which is sure to add a unique energy to the conference atmosphere. Not only is the Ottawa Convention Centre minutes away from Parliament, it is also within walking distance of over 6,000 attractions and landmarks, such as the National Gallery of Canada (go see the incredible Van Gogh exhibit showing right now) and trendy ByWard Market district.
