Cindy Bouchard, Manager of Legislative Services City of Williams Lake, British Columbia

Cindy has been an employee of the City of Williams Lake for 22 years, recently promoted to Manager of Legislative Services in the Corporate Services Department. In addition to all of the core duties of her job, Cindy’s focus over the past several years has also in part been on implementing iCompass Meeting Management services for all of the City’s Council and Committee meetings.
Cindy is currently working towards a Government Administration Certificate and loves computers, trapshooting, photography, and scrapbooking.

Connie Maden, iCompass Advisory Board Representative Tonasket, Washington
In August 2010, Connie shifted her focus from her previous administrative role to her current position spearheading a consulting firm, as well as serving as a representative for Nikken health and wellness products. Previously, Connie served as Director of Administrative Services with the North Valley Hospital District in Tonasket, Washington, during which time she implemented the full suite of iCompass services. Connie first started with the Hospital as a special project typist and eventually moved through the ranks to Director. Connie was a part of all the administrative functions of the office, as well as a member of the Senior Management team and support to twenty nine department managers in every way imaginable.
A testament to her personal drive and dedication to her craft, Connie decided to go back to school in 2004 and subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She has been very active with horses, training & competing semi-professionally and non-pro at various levels in several disciplines.

Vicki Hodgkinson, University Secretary University of Guelph, Ontario
Vicki is currently the University Secretary for the University of Guelph, ranked as one of Canada’s top comprehensive Universities. In this role, she is the University’s most senior advisor on governance issues, supporting the operations of its Board of Governors and Senate. Vicki has almost 30 years of experience in the post secondary sector incorporating a range of senior positions including institutional and government roles.
Vicki has extensive experience in strategic and public policy development, institutional governance, government advocacy, institutional planning and management, and partnership development. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts (History) from York University and a Master of Arts (Leadership) from the University of Guelph.

Sherry Davis, Manager of Legislative Services City of Abbotsford, British Columbia Sherry has been an employee of the City of Abbotsford for the past five years in a variety of capacities, including Administration, Corporate Planning, Bylaws, Public Safety Inspection Division and now Manager of Legislative Services.
Before joining the City of Abbotsford, Sherry was employed in a variety of occupations, including a law firm and investment company. Sherry continues to add to her “personal toolbox” by taking post secondary courses towards her Bachelor of Commerce (Public Sector Management), and by upgrading her knowledge through various conferences and seminars. Sherry has been married for 15 years and has two boys who keep her very busy with hockey, football, basketball, swimming and whatever other activity they decide to take up.

Lyle Huntley, Clerk & Director of Community Services Thompson-Nicola Regional District, Kamloops, British Columbia
For the past three years Lyle has been the Clerk/Director of Community Services for the Thompson-Nicola Regional District, located in Kamloops, BC. Lyle brings over 18 years experience in the public sector - ten and half years with the City Clerk’s and Community Services Departments in the City of London, three and a half years in the Public Works and Public Health and Community Services Departments with the City of Hamilton and two years with the Ontario Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services. Lyle holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management, a Degree in Economics, and a Diploma in Electronic Data Processing, as well as formal training in municipal administration.

Marlene Beaulieu, Executive Assistant to the President and College Board College of New Caledonia, Prince George, British Columbia
Marlene has been the Executive Assistant to the President and College Board at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC since November of 2007. Prior to this position she held the position of Executive Assistant to the Vice President Academic and Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Finance. Between 2006-1997, Marlene held the position of Administrative Assistant at the North Island College in Courtenay, BC. Recently, Marlene concluded a two year term as the President of the Prince George Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
Marlene is responsive to today’s employment climate, recognizing the importance of enhancing professional skills, abilities and implementing technology whenever possible to save time and money. With over 25 years of experience as a career-minded administrative professional, Ms. Beaulieu is committed to sharing her expertise with her colleagues and professional association.

Candace Dueck, Chief Administrative Officer Village of Mannville, Alberta
Candace is Chief Administrative Officer of the Village of Mannville, Alberta. Candace previously participated on the user working group of the Realty Asset Information System (RAIS) for the Department of National Defence. As well, with Octane Energy she trained and taught in-house the ADP PC/Payroll for Windows and ReportSmith software.
Candace believes that technology should be used to its full capacity to make one’s life easier – if it doesn’t then it is a failure.

Sue Dawe, Director of Corporate Services Municipality of Port Hope, Ontario
Sue is currently the Director of Corporate Services for the Municipality of Port Hope, Ontario with oversight on legal, property, Council Secretariat, Information and Technology, Emergency Management. She also fulfills the statutory role of Municipal Clerk. Sue brings 35 years of collective work experience to the iCompass Customer Advisory Board with past experience in the Hospitality and Tourism, Construction, Marketing/Professional Development sectors.
Sue holds a Bachelor of Business Operations, with Honors from Devry Institute of Technology, a Certified Municipal Officer designation, diplomas in Hospitality and Tourism, Customer Service Excellence, Marketing / Sales Training and Professional Development.
